We praise the Lord for the safety He has given us while we are on the road. We have traveled 8,121 miles. If we average that out over the seven weeks we were gone, it goes something like this:
1160 miles/week
165 miles/day
At 60 miles per hour that is something like:
19 hours 20 minutes a week
2 hours 45 minutes a day
And people ask missionaries what they do when they are on furlough!!!!
Please pray for us as we launch back into the school year. We have two days of strategic planning on Monday and Tuesday. In-service is Wednesday-Friday. Then we start the semester on Auguest 7th. Dr. Matt Williams, VP of NBBC, will be with us teaching a class on Servant Leadership four hours a day. We are excited about the spiritual impact that time could have.

Praise the Lord, you are back safely! That was quite the journey. Tell Pastor Matt that Danielle and I say "hi"! I am going to make a point of putting you on my prayer list. Please stop by Columbus, GA if you're ever in the neighborhood!
