This summer has been a busy summer for us. We have been on a seven-week road trip throughout the United States. By the time we arrive back home we will have traveled over 8,000 miles and been from Monterrey to Greenville to Vermont to Tampa and back to Monterrey. The primary purpose of this trip has been to visit supporting churches. We have visited eleven of our nineteen supporting churches. We were also blessed with being in two new churches. With another child on the way, we would like to raise some additional support to offset the costs associated with diapers, formula, etc.! We praise the Lord for the wonderful meetings He has allowed us to have.

The Lord has used the time that we have been on the road to encourage our hearts and renew our vision for the ministry to which God has called us. The Christ-like spirit we have seen in the churches that support us has also encouraged us. God is truly working in different places all over the world, carrying out His purposes and bringing about His glory.

We should be traveling from Florida to Monterrey on July 24 and 25. We thank the Lord for the safety He has granted us this far.

Matt,
Came across your blog. You probably don't remember me. My family was at Tri-City for 10 years. We are now in Columbus, GA at Grace Baptist Church. We support Baron Howerton and about 250 other missionaries. If you are coming through the area, you should stop by! E-mail me at jax1965@hotmail.com if you could! Otherwise, have a safe trip and God bless you and your family as you serve in Mexico.
