Talking to a 14-month old

A few days ago, David (our 14-month old) walked in to the kitchen and said, "Mama? Mama?"
Susan replied, "Yes, honey?"
David said, "Dada? Dada?"
Susan: "He's upstairs, honey."
David: "U'tairs."

David then proceeded to turn around and go up the stairs to find me.

As he walked away, Susan thought, "I just had a conversation with my 14-month old!"
